Whats New With Quell?

This year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas was filled with exciting new technology, especially in the health and wellness marketplace. Digital health continues to grow at a rapid pace with innovations, like Quell, helping consumers manage their health conditions and outcomes. Adding to the energy on the show floor, we introduced the most advanced features to date for our Quell wearable pain relief technology.

NeuroMetrix has been at the intersection of bioelectrical and digital medicine for more than 20 years, and we’re putting this expertise to work to help those living with chronic pain to reclaim their lives and improve their health. If you’re one of the more than 100 million Americans living with chronic pain, finding alternative treatments that best meet your needs is an ongoing process. We’re constantly looking for ways to improve our products to support you in your journey to find relief.

In doing so, our engineering team used the latest technology and considered customer feedback to develop the newest features of Quell:

App calibration

Getting started with Quell is now easier than ever. The first step in user personalization can now be completed using the Quell Relief app on your smartphone or tablet. The app coaches new users through each step of setup and calibration, making it even easier to achieve the optimal therapy dosage.

Advanced Personalization

Advanced personalization capabilities

Quell users now have even more options to customize their therapy, including dosages, stimulation patterns and responsive nighttime therapy settings. Device updates also include automatic adjustments to address circadian fluctuations that may impact how stimulation feels at different times of day.

Enhanced tracking and therapy insights

Users are now able to track a variety of health dimensions through their Quell app including pain levels and active time, gait and step count. In addition to insights from therapy and sleep tracking, these new metrics will help users better understand and manage their individual chronic pain experience over time.

Longer battery life

Quell’s battery will now power up to 50 therapy sessions for a typical user, allowing more treatments between recharges. Many users will now only need to charge their Quell device every 5-7 days, depending on their frequency and intensity of use.

Future-ready

The latest version of Quell can now be upgraded remotely via the Quell Relief app, empowering users to take advantage of any future firmware updates with ease.

We were excited to introduce all these updates at CES in January – even Dr. Oz stopped by to check them out!
